The Linn Wins coalition is supported by local representatives from the business community, labor, nonprofit organizations and Linn County voters. In 2013, a group of local investors formed the Cedar Rapids Development Group (CRDG) with the goal of bringing a casino to Linn County. These efforts secured an overwhelming victory; however, state law requires passing a second gaming referendum to permanently authorize gaming in the county.

We are united by the goal of passing this referendum to ensure the potential to have a casino in Linn County. In the future, this facility will provide entertainment and tourism options for residents and visitors, in addition to tremendous opportunities for area nonprofits.

As we approach Election Day, we encourage you to join the Linn Wins coalition so we can pass the referendum in November and unlock Linn County’s future potential.
